Noch steckt das Projekt in den Kinderschuhen. Aber die virtuelle Geldeinheit könnte sich in naher Zukunft auch in der realen Welt bezahlt machen: dann nämlich, wenn sie der populären, aber defizitären Online-Plattform neue lukrative Vermarktungswege eröffnet.Die „Facebook Credits“ gibt es bereits seit November. Seither kaufen Mitglieder die bunten Icons in der virtuellen Auslage des Facebook-Geschenkeladens nicht mehr mit Dollar oder Euro, sondern tauschen diese vorher gegen Credits ein.
