Nachdem inzwischen selbst Knut eine eigene EC-Karte bekommen hat, ist das Thema Clubkarte langsam aber sicher durch! Anders sieht es im Mobilfunk aus: Noch! Denn mit Sonopia beginnt eine kleine Revolution: Selbst kleinste Communities können ab sofort ihr eigenes Netz betreiben, Liste von Freunden anlegen, ein Profil erstellen, sie können Bilder und Videos von ihrem Handy aus hochladen, einen MoBlog betreiben – und bekommen sogar noch ein paar Prozent vom Umsatz gut geschrieben. Regensburg wird europäische Modellregion für Handy-TV

eise mobil: “Im Raum Regensburg wird in den nächsten beiden Jahren bei einem internationalen Forschungsprojekt Handy-TV getestet. Bei dem Modellvorhaben soll geprüft werden, wie regionale Fernseh- und Radioangebote von den Besitzern der speziellen Mobilfunkgeräte angenommen werden. Am Donnerstag, 28. September, soll das mobile TV im Hosentaschenformat in der Oberpfalz an den Start geben.

Nutzungsversuch wird von dem europäischen Digital- Multimedia- Broadcasting- (DMB-)Projekt “Mi Friends” organisiert, das auf Initiative der Bayerischen Landeszentrale für neue Medien gestartet wurde. Insgesamt 75 Partner aus neuen Ländern sind an dem Modellvorhaben beteiligt, darunter auch das Kommunikations- und Informationsministerium der Republik Korea. Regensburg wurde für das Projekt ausgewählt, weil die Forschungsergebnisse nach Ansicht der Initiatoren gut auf andere europäische Gebiete übertragen werden können …”

Bemerkenswert: “There is an interesting phenomenon occuring at moblogUK; bands and musicians using mobile blogging to connect with their fans instantly, and inviting their fans to both comment and interact with their moblogs themselves.

It reminds me most of the reason why myspace was so good for so long; bands had a new way of sharing their music directly with fans, interacting intimately with those fans, and inviting them to comment too.
